The Parc du Verregat [Verregatpark] will be extended from 12,000 m² to 17,000 m2 and will include a link between the Chaussée Romaine and the Avenue Impératrice Charlotte. It will comprise large walkways to accommodate pedestrians and cyclists heading from Parking C towards the front of the Brussels Expo Exhibition Halls and the Stade Roi Baudouin [King Baudouin Stadium] and thus relieve congestion in the surrounding neighbourhoods. Work began in February 2019 and will be completed in 2021.
