May 2025 : Neo sets up a temporary multi-sports pitch for football and hockey

The Primerose Hockey Club has a new temporary multi-sports pitch for its upcoming matches!

The young sports team is now playing on a temporary surface that has just been refurbished thanks to NEO.

But what is the link between NEO and hockey?

As you know, it plans to build a Sports Park* on the Heysel Plateau.

For Primerose Hockey Club, being without a pitch during the works was out of the question.

The City of Brussels entrusted NEO with the task of renovating an existing temporary multi-sports pitch (hockey and football training), located on the outskirts of the King Baudouin Stadium.

Located at the junction of Avenues Impératrice Charlotte and Houba De Strooper, it has just been inaugurated with a great first match between the Primerose U16B-1 and l’Orée U16B-3 teams.

3-2 victory for Primerose!

This state-of-the-art dry pitch will enable sports enthusiasts to continue playing during the works. Primerose schedules between 8 and 10 matches every weekend during each season (22 weeks).

This will keep the athletes busy before permanently moving into their new Sports Park facilities.

*The Sports Park includes the construction of a hockey complex (pitches and club house); an athletics training ground with a 400-metre track and 8 lanes; a rugby complex (hybrid rugby/soccer pitch and the building housing the club house and other facilities for international competitions); the central building housing the various sporting institutions, including the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee.
