A new roadway will link Parking C to the front of the Brussels Expo Exhibition Halls. It I s intended to decongest road traffic and relieve the surrounding neighbourhoods from the pressure of cars and trucks when events are held on the Heysel Plateau. Works got under way on 15 February 2019. The project equally encompasses the extension and the redevelopment of the Verregatpark, which will promote soft mobility between Parking C and the Front of the Brussels Expo Exhibition Halls via the instalment of large walkways and cycle paths throughout the Park.
