Borjana Dakic has taken on the key role of expert project manager for NEO. Armed with a Master’s in Architecture from La Cambre Visual Arts School, she has over 15 years of experience managing big projects.
As an expert project manager, Borjana is the point of contact and reference for all things NEO. Companies, project leads, developers and public authorities are free to contact Borjana for support with projects that fall within her remit, starting with the Parc des Sports.
Having the expertise, knowledge and holistic approach of a project manager with a background in architecture was crucial. Borjana brings a fantastic skillset to the table:
- She understands often complex situations involving large-scale and very specific projects
- She is aware of project leads’ responsibilities and the difficulties they face in Brussels
- She helps businesses to comply with their obligations, and
- She takes on a key leadership role to ensure the site is managed effectively.
It also goes without saying that Borjana is responsible for each project until completion.
Borjana’s team has welcomed an architect and engineer in the past weeks, which should be a boon in the next stages of these exciting projects!
The first on the list is the brand-new Parc des Sports, which will be much appreciated by sports fans and residents, in particular:
- Hockey supporters: one-and-a-half hockey pitch with a 1,000-seat grandstand;
- Athletes: training grounds with a 400-metre, 8-lane track;
- Members of rugby and football clubs: a mixed rugby and football pitch with a 5,000-seat grandstand.
