June 2025: Meet Narcisse Traoré, a civil construction engineer working to make NEO accessible!

Meet Narcisse Traoré, a civil construction engineer working to make NEO accessible!

In the spotlight today is Narcisse Traoré!

He’s a civil construction engineer who graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in June 2013, before completing further management studies at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.

At 36 years old, Narcisse already has a wealth of experience under his belt:

– Civil engineer in the private sector (Viabuild!, Colas Belgium)

– Project management at Infrabel, working as a project chief engineer for infrastructure projects in the south of Brussels. Or at Durabrik, where he was responsible for infrastructure projects in Wallonia.

What do all these experiences have in common? Managing major projects in Belgium, and knowledge of the Dutch language.

And what does he bring to NEO Brussels?

Same as the above, along with an extra dollop of experience and knowledge of Brussels.

Narcisse joined NEO in November 2024.

He’s managing the connecting roadway project, ensuring optimum accessibility to the Heysel.

Narcisse, along with Borjana Dakic and Baptiste Desmarets, form the crack team currently coordinating two major NEO projects.

The connecting roadway is one of the Heysel’s many connections to both Brussels and the rest of the country, alongside the metro, three tram lines, numerous bus routes, the A12, and the Ring.
