What’s on at the Planetarium this summer?<\/b><\/p>\n

How about continuing our summer tour of<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>NEO<\/a>‘s<\/span> neighbours?<\/span><\/p>\n

There are at least three excellent reasons to visit the Brussels\u00a0<\/span>Planetarium<\/span><\/a> this summer.<\/p>\n

Firstly, there are film<\/a> screenings every day from 10:30 am, suitable for all age groups.<\/p>\n

Secondly, discover this building appointed by King Albert I to illustrate the collaboration between industry and science. Originally built for the 1935 World Expo, it was known as the Alberteum at the time. With its 23-metre-high dome, it was part of a larger complex dedicated to science. The original planetarium underwent several openings and closures before being demolished and rebuilt in 1976.<\/p>\n

Thirdly, enjoy the film event for fans of Pink Floyd (and for other visitors, too!): “<\/span>The Dark Side of the Moon Planetarium Experience<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

This event will be held on 31 July and 14 & 28 August, at 8:00 pm. To celebrate the legendary band’s 50th anniversary, the Planetarium invites you to enjoy a 360\u00b0 film specially created to illustrate the ten tracks on the album. Images of the solar system combined with visual effects designed with the participation of the graphic artist who created the album cover for The Dark Side of The Moon accompany the musical pieces.<\/p>\n
